TOUS has been an audited member of the RJC since 2020 with the number 0000 4967, which ensures that we comply with the standards of good practice within the world of Jewelry.
All TOUS jewellery is compliance with the certification and warranty standards for sterling silver (925/000) and 18kt gold (750/000) of precious metals legislation. This is reflected in the physical pieces through the hallmarks established in the Spanish Law on objects crafted with precious metals:
• Sponsor’s mark: hallmark carried out at our certified workshops or suppliers, which identifies us as manufacturers or importers.
• Assay mark: hallmark produced using a punch by an official or authorized laboratory, duly accredited for the performance of this task. The laboratories selected by TOUS are accredited by ENAC (Spanish National Organization for Accreditation and Certification) and carry out their work in accordance with the highest quality and warranty standards. The marks which the laboratories use to stamp our pieces are exclusively manufactured by the Spanish Royal Mint, and are provided through the pertinent department of the Spanish Ministry of Industry and Energy. Assay marks are geometrical shapes, with different shapes for gold and silver. They must include the “purity” of the alloy, which is the proportion of pure precious metal in the alloy, followed by the mark of the laboratory which performed the assay.
