GARNET

A group of gemstones that can be found in an array of colors, except blue, which includes greens, yellows, oranges, pinks, reds or garnets. The gemstone is given a specific name, depending on the color that it features. If it is not referred to, whenever we mention garnet, we will be referring to a type of almandine, the most common garnet, which features a red, brown or violet red tone. Other common garnet varieties: Tsavorite – Hessonite – Rhodonite – Spessartine.
