In October 2014, a Rolex boutique was opened in Paseo de Gracia, Barcelona, which reflects the essence of the brand and is inspired by the water and sea, with the purpose of evoking the creation - in 1926 - of the first waterproof wristwatch: the Rolex Oyster.
Pau Casals avenue, in the center of Barcelona, was the location chosen in 2009 to construct the first Rolex boutique in Barcelona.
