AQUAMARINE

A blue variety of Beryl, due to its intense color it reminds us of the seawater, which is its name in Latin, “aqua marina.” Normally, they do not present inclusions and there can be found clean gemstones of a larger size. In fact, a 110 kg piece was found in Brazil, from which many pieces were cut, with a total weight of 10,000 ct. There exist translucent varieties with inclusions in different cuts like those we use to create jewelry from the Atelier TOUS collection.
